About the FACILITIES MASTER Plan

Mohave Community College is creating a Facilities Master Plan! This plan will serve as a ten-year vision for future physical improvements on each of the four campuses, with the following goals:

Support the College's Mission and Strategic Plan
Meet physical needs for existing and future academic programs
Inform and build consensus for decision making
Maximize opportunities for funding

The plan will incorporate:

Analysis of existing conditions, including building use, teaching space utilization, open space, circulation and parking, and sustainability
Future needs based on enrollment trends and future academic programs
Short- and long-term capital plan with priority projects

The planning team

The design firm DLR Group has been hired to work with the MCC community to develop the Facilities Master Plan. They will not draft the plan in isolation, but will work with College leadership, students, faculty, staff, and community members to ensure that the plan reflects their needs and aspirations.

Together, we will create a practical, realistic, and visionary road map for future facilities at Mohave Community College.
